We will be teaching an Introduction to Cross Step Waltz over two classes this July. The Cross Step Waltz is a fun form of the waltz that was popular in the 20s and 30s. It is danced to a waltz that is slightly faster than the Slow Waltz.
The logistics:
When: Thursdays, July 13 and July 20, 2017
Time: 6:30pm to 7:30pm
Where: Dogwood Pavilion, 1655 Winslow Ave, Coquitlam (map)
Cost: $8 per person
Note that while there will be two lessons, the first is not a prerequisite of the second. You may attend either one or both of those lessons.
Stay after the lesson to practice this and all your other dances. We will play the full range of dance styles including Cha Cha, Rumba, Salsa, Swing, Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Hustle and West Coast Swing.
Time: 7:30pm to 9:30pm
Cost: $2 per person / $1 for members of the Senior Centre
We hope to see you on Thursday, to attend the lesson or to enjoy the dancing after!
