Partner Social Dance gives us so much:
- It’s Physical. We spend so much time seated at desks, in buses, trains or cars. Dancing gets us up and moving, improving balance, coordination and mobility.
- It’s Social. We also spend so much time in front of a screen of some sort: a computer, a tablet, a phone, a TV. Dancing gets you out there, interacting with real people, in real time.
- It’s Fun. Yes, dancing is fun! It involves music, yourself and a partner, in a relaxed environment where nobody is measured or judged.
- It’s Engaging. Dancing involves learning something new, remembering steps and coordinating movement. It’s a great way to exercise the brain!
